We expect promises to be kept and upheld. When they are not, we are disappointed and sometimes devastated. Paul informed the Romans that despite the blessing and privileges the nation of Israel had received and experienced, she refused to accept Jesus as the promised Messiah. Paul is clear: God’s promises are unbreakable!
