Man promises peace and even tries to provide it. God gives peace unlike any other. Look at the Christmas narrative this morning. Watch God provide peace in a way no one else ever can.
What a joy to know God not only knows everything, He remembers it, too! Today’s passage celebrates the fact God remembers what He has said and that God keeps His promises. Notice how God keeps His promises to others and how God keeps His promises to groups of people.
Reaching the finish line is a wonderful accomplishment. Although we have reached the end of the book of Psalms, the race is far from over. Listen as the psalmist encourages us – almost panting like a runner at the end of the race – to keep going and praise the Lord at all times.
