While we consider what’s next for our church, we look to God’s Word for direction. God’s expectations are the same today as they have always been. God expects active followers. As you notice three actions of active followers this morning, consider how well you are actively following Jesus Christ..

To do all God has given us to do takes hard work, but you CAN serve God! Notice two aspects of this work: God’s part and your part as highlighted in 1 Corinthians 15.  

We follow the course set by our Captain, Jesus. With home so close, we must faithfully wait and watch. This is our annual church anniversary Sunday.

Since our church began meeting in 1955, Homecoming Sunday marks our “birthday”. This year we discuss the battles everyone is facing. In the struggles you face, victory awaits if you have three keys. Pastor not only shares these keys from 2 Corinthians 4, but also shows how to practice them.

As our church celebrates its 63rd anniversary, we have much for which we can be thankful. Echoing the sentiment of the psalmist in Psalm 136, we are thankful for God creating a place, filling it with people, and giving us tremendous possibilities.

We turn to perhaps the oldest written text in the Bible this morning. Written by Moses shortly after the verdict was handed to Israel extending her stay in the wilderness for 40 years, it is a song of praise even in times of difficulty. we must praise our great God!

This week marks our church anniversary – 61 years since the first service was held by our church family. During that time we have seen God do many incredible and wonderful works.
