Have you made plans that were later changed? Sounds like a silly question! We all have experienced that. In fact, it is probably rarer that plans do NOT get changed in one regard or another. But imagine a plan that is set; a plan that cannot seemingly be altered; a plan that can only lead to one conclusion. What happens when that plan gets changed? The nation of Israel is on course to be delivered, yet at just about the crucial moment, they decide as a nation to refuse what has been planned all along. The question that is being asked and answered this morning is simple – what happens to God’s gracious plan?
