We have been brought to an amazingly beautiful place on the Pathway of Hope. We have been shown just how guilty and defenseless we are and then shown that there is hope to be found. This hope is God’s righteousness, freely declaring those who by rights are guilty as “not worthy of condemnation or punishment.” What an amazing gift. What an incredible hope!

Because this righteousness is freely given, there is nothing anyone can do to earn it or make it their own apart from the manner which God prescribes. This morning we see God coming to the rescue of humanity as He provides what no one else can provide so that He alone gets the credit and praise.
